What to Expect

We know that meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new space (like church) can be nerve-racking. We want to make your first visit to GC Lemon Grove a great one.

GC Lemon Grove gathers on Sundays at 11:00am and runs The Neighborhood Event Center 6 days a week hosting activities & events for the community!

Casual & welcoming — dress comfortably, come as you are
Grace based (no judgment)
Communion every week
Worship style: Music (contemporary & hymns) + singing as space to connect with God, not a performance
Teaching: We use the Revised Common Lectionary, walking through Scripture & the Christian Calendar thru the year

Family Room: Parents can stay w/children & watch message
Nursery & Children’s Ministry during the sermon time
All volunteers screened & trained through Ministry Safe
